1. Cooling system first

2. Don't trust an old battery
It's a myth that batteries only die in winter. Extreme heat actually shortens battery life faster than cold by evaporating the internal fluid. If yours is a few years old, get it tested.
3. Check tire pressure in the morning
Hot pavement plus underinflated tires is a recipe for a blowout. Check pressure when tires are cool and inspect for cracking from UV and heat.
4. Service your A/C
In Arizona, air conditioning is safety equipment, not a luxury. If it's blowing warm or weak, a quick check can find a low charge or a failing component before you're stuck sweating.
5. Protect your fluids
